The Rt. Rev. Dr. Elias Chakupewa, Bishop of Tabora, conducted a Confirmation Service at Trinity Church, Parish of Bukondamoyo in Kahama Deanery. A total of 52 members were confirmed during the service.

The Diocese of Tabora was inaugurated on 2nd July 1989. The current Diocesan Bishop is the Rt. Rev. Dr. Elias Chakupewa Mazi who was consecrated and enthroned since 29th May, 2011.
